The Department of Civic Education (PKn) at the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) UNY continues to demonstrate its commitment to strengthening cross-institutional collaboration through various forms of strategic partnerships in the fields of education, research, and community service.These partnerships are an important part of the PKn Department's efforts to realise its vision of becoming a centre of excellence in civic education based on the values of Pancasila and with a global orientation. Through its extensive network of collaborations, the PKn Department of FISIP UNY seeks to expand its academic and social impact, both nationally and internationally.

The Department of Civic Education (PKn) at the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Yogyakarta State University continues to expand its academic collaboration network at the global level. As a strategic step towards internationalization, the PKn Department of FISIP UNY is exploring cooperation with Hiroshima University, Japan, which focuses on strengthening education, research, and community service programs based on global citizenship values and world peace.
Through this initiative, the PKn Department at FISIP UNY seeks to build productive partnerships in the form of faculty and student exchanges, joint research, international seminars, and curriculum development based on global citizenship education. The collaboration with Hiroshima University is expected to be the first step in broadening the international perspective of UNY's PKn academic community and strengthening UNY's role as a globally competitive university based on the values of Pancasila.
Partnership With Nottingham Trent University, UK
The Department of Civic Education (PKn) of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences at Yogyakarta State University is currently exploring international cooperation with Nottingham Trent University (NTU) in the United Kingdom. This initiative is part of the UNY PKn Department's efforts to expand its global academic network and strengthen its internationalization program in the field of civic education and national studies.
